I have been living in this town for almost ten years. The very first week, I went to the Jazz Bar, and it felt like home. Over the years, I have met wonderful people there, and I must say, a handful of women who bring together a community and grow in a very matriarchal way.

Cera Impala (@cera_impala), in particular, is a beam of light, for real; she beams in this space that she has created. Her songwriting is poetic while deeply direct, profoundly human and relatable. Her singing is like that of a fairy.
